LEARN ABOUT YOUR SKIN AND BODY

Learn About Your Skin & Body
Your skin is more than what you see in the mirror — it’s a living, breathing organ that protects, regulates, and reflects what’s happening within you. At Rene Natural, we believe that understanding your body is the first step toward true healing, because when you know better, you care better.
The Three Layers of Skin
-
Epidermis – The Defender
This is the outermost layer, your body’s first line of defense. It creates a waterproof barrier and determines your natural skin tone. -
Dermis – The Foundation
Found beneath the epidermis, this layer holds connective tissue, hair follicles, oil glands, and sweat glands. It’s where most of the skin’s strength and elasticity come from. -
Hypodermis (Subcutaneous Tissue) – The Support System
The deepest layer, made up of fat and connective tissue. It cushions your organs, stores energy, and helps regulate temperature.
Together, these layers work in harmony to protect your body and express your inner health — what happens on the outside often reflects what’s happening within.
Common Skin Conditions
1. Acne
The most common skin condition worldwide. It occurs when pores become clogged with oil, dead skin, and bacteria. Hormones, stress, and diet can all contribute.
2. Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis)
A chronic condition that causes dry, itchy, and inflamed skin. It’s often linked to an overactive immune system or allergies.
3. Psoriasis
An autoimmune condition that accelerates skin cell turnover, creating thick, scaly patches that may itch or burn.
4. Rosacea
A chronic inflammatory condition causing redness and visible blood vessels, usually on the face. Triggers can include stress, heat, and certain foods.
5. Dermatitis
A general term for skin inflammation. Contact dermatitis occurs when the skin reacts to something that irritates or triggers an allergic reaction.
6. Dandruff
A flaky scalp condition that can result from seborrheic dermatitis, fungal buildup, or dryness.
7. Rash or Cellulitis
Rashes can result from irritation or infection, while cellulitis involves deeper skin inflammation, often requiring medical attention.
A Holistic Approach to Healing
Your skin is often the first to show signs of imbalance — whether that’s stress, diet, lack of rest, or emotional strain. That’s why we approach skincare as part of a bigger picture.
-
Feed your skin from within: Hydrate, rest, and nourish your body with whole foods.
-
Care intentionally: Choose gentle, plant-powered ingredients that support your skin barrier.
-
Pray and release: Emotional tension affects your skin. Healing starts when you give your stress to God and choose peace daily.
At Rene Natural, we don’t chase perfection — we honor progress.
Healthy, radiant skin takes time, patience, and grace.
